In addition to this, the Facebook-owned company also had mentioned all the terms of using its platform in its FAQ section previously. In the Whatsapp FAQs section, the company said its messaging platform is not intended for bulk scam messages or automated messaging, and anyone doing this is against its terms of service.

According to statement of company: “In addition, beginning on December 7, 2019, Whatsapp will take legal action against those we determine are engaged in or assisting others in abuse that violates our Terms of Service, such as automated or bulk messaging, or non-personal use, even if that determination is based on information solely available to us off our platform,” company said.
So, in case you are also in the list of violating the terms of the Whatsapp then the company will start taking legal action against entities and individuals sending out bulk messages in disobedience of its service terms even if the information is accessible through channels outside the Whatsapp platform.
The Entities or individuals who are engaged in this process or helping others for such scam activities such as sending automatic or mass messages would certainly face some action from the company on December 7 onwards.

According to the latest statement of the company -“We’ve also stepped up our ability to identify accounts that misuse Whatsapp and ban them from our service. We know that people want to communicate with businesses on Whatsapp, which is why we’ve developed Whatsapp Business and are working to expand our features and uses for these products,” the company spokesperson added.
To authenticate the news, a Whatsapp representative said the company had taken action to stop mass messaging and retain limits on how the messaging platform could be used. Till now the company has blocked over 2 million accounts in a month period worldwide for this behavior.
